Show up a little before sunset and watch the sun set while you get settled in (7:29pm). \nWith the commanding view from Dick Watkin’s Bluff Property overlooking the Congaree Park Basin\, (next to Fort Motte)\, we should be able to hear and see some interesting sights with the full moon up\, very little light pollution\, a quiet place\, and the migration in swing. \nThere won’t be any hiking\, just relaxing with friends. Lawn chairs/lounges\, blankets(?)\,\nbinoculars\, mosquito spray\, cameras and tripods\, flashlights (preferably with a red lens\nor red cellophane)\, whatever you want in a cooler. I will bring the trash can. If you want\nto leave and go back home early\, you can. \nSunset 7:29pm\nMoon rise 7:37pm\nOverhead 12:50am\nMoon set 7:56am \n================================== \nDirections coming from Columbia via Hwy 601:\n1.
